London FW SS ’14 Recap

I really, really  loved the shows in London this year.  I actually had a hard time putting together this post because there were so many beautiful and inspiring pieces that went down the runways (thank goodness for Pinterest so I can share everything!) Here are a few of our favorite trends from London Fashion Week.

Giles, Tata Naka, KTZ

Ever since the reemergence  of Schiaparelli during Couture Week, we have been in love with all things surreal. From cheeky prints to funky shapes, Dali would be proud!

Burberry Prorsum, Erdem, Tata Naka (I may be a little obsessed, yes)

While saying lace is a trend for spring is becoming almost as cliche as florals, we saw laces in larger scale then normal. Dare we say, almost lace tablecloth-y? But not in a bad way! We love the soft boldness of these looks.

Bright, fun colors were especially popular on the London runways.  Pair them with funky geometric shapes, a 60s silhouette and you’re in business!

The placement of cutouts this season is very interesting. Necklines, shoulders and midriffs, we are seeing subtle and unique cut outs coming this spring.
