New York Fashion Week is one of our favorite time of the year! Even with all the madness, there is a level of excitement watching the newest collections sent down the runway, seeing our fabulous fashion friends old and new, and soaking in all the creativity around! Now that my feet are no longing screaming in NYFW-induced pain, it is time for us to share our recap of our favorite trends coming up next Spring.
Here are our top trends for Spring Summer 2014:
Alexander Wang, Creatures of the Wind, Tibi
Not just any sheerness is in this spring but sheer stripes. A cheeky little logo adds some fun too!
Marc Jacobs, Marchesa, Rodarte
Apparently fashion just can’t get enough of Gatsby. But hey, I’m not complaining!
Catherine Malandrino, Oscar de la Renta, J. Mendel
The epitome of spring, crisp, clean eyelets ruled the runway. Some eyelets were large, laser cut statements while others stuck with the classic feel we all know and love.
Peter Som, Rachel Zoe, Ralph Lauren
In a season known for fun, pastel colors, black and white were the colors du jour. You could grab a name out of a hat and chances are, that designer sent something B&W down the runway.
